MY NEIGBOUR WAS NOT AWARE

Been away for a while., trust me it wasn't my making. Lemme quickly drop this before I disappear into the thin air again.
So,  yesterday just as I sat humming a song and washing a few clothes. A conversation began between my neighbour  and I, it was quite interesting at first as we discussed feminism,  gender equality and the role of a woman in the home. I never knew this my neighbour was among the folks who paraded themselves as men, electing that a woman position in the home was synonymous to that of nanny. Shocking!  I tell you but that's a topic for another day. So leggo.

It was magical how this friendly conversation turned sour. Just a few more words he uttered stinged me like a bee. Ouch!!

LETTER TO MY DAD.

    DAD,

I could start this letter out by thanking you for the multiple things such as the roof over my head or the food you place on the table but somehow when I sit back and think about how truly thankful I am to have you as my father those things barely scratch the surface.

The weight of a glass.

There’s always room for a story that can

                                                       ―J.K. Rowling

Let me distract you for a moment and tell you a short story.
This is an old story – maybe familiar.  The people and the circumstances differ slightly for everyone who tells them, but the core lessons remain the same.
I hope the twist I've put on it here inspires you to think differently…

THE WESLEYS'

You would agree with that John Wesley is well known as an evangelist who claimed the world as his parish,  and who rose at four each morning in for his devotional time, but his home was in shambles. Four years after his marriage he wrote to his brother Charles and said "love is rot"
He was a remarkable man and God used him mightily,  yet his marriage was a miserable failure.

THE BATTLE FOR YOUR NAME.

It was Zig Ziglag who said: "if you lose money,  you have lost nothing; if you lose your health, maybe you lose something,  but if you lose your character,  name and integrity, you have lost all". How true!   Remember that your name has already gone to heaven before you! .
